Nestled across a quiet wooded valley, near an abandoned rock quarry and along side a tranquil lake, lies one of the "Best New Golf Courses in America". Unlike any barren Kansas landscape you might have in mind, The Golf Club of Kansas will surprise you with 140 feet of elevation change and sweeping long range views. While our course can be a competitive test for low handicappers, holes here have enough negotiable escape routes to allow even the most casual golfer a magical round.
Strategically located lakes and winding streams meander throughout the property. Combined with terrain that flows from thickly wooded corridors to open grasslands, this setting offers numerous options for exciting, dramatic holes with constant elevation flow. The Kansas Sports Center
The Golf Club of Kansas is part of the Kansas Sports Center. This 32-acre recreational facility includes a full line discount golf pro shop, PGA instructors, state-of-the-art baseball and softball batting cages, 18-hole miniature golf course.Located in the heart of Johnson County, Kansas just minutes away from dozens of Kansas City landmarks, one of the most talked about championship golf courses in years is gently maturing into a regional favorite. The 7,004 yard, par 71 layout is scheduled to host some of the Midwest's top Amateur events this summer and the Annual Membership program is being touted as one of the most practical Club Membership options in the area.
